hears grievances - Union awaits his response

4/17/09 - Union President Mike Lowery, VP representing ECAT workers Larry Smith, and Chief Shop Steward Queenie Brown presented 4 grievances to ECAT Director of Transportation (Pete Cleghorn) and Operations Manager Brenda Mitchell.

The first grievance was for Bus Operator Patricia Scott on a uniform violation and loss of pay.  Next grievance was for Bus Operator Rosyln Malone who claims she was bypassed given work as an extra board operator.  The third grievance was for Bus Operator Lee Williams III who was suspended and received other discipline on a passenger complaint.  The last grievance heard was for Trolley Operator Michael Thomas who also states he was bypassed extra work.

Cleghorn has 5 working days to respond to the Union in writing.
