UPDATE: General Manager Patricia Warner resigns from Pensacola Bay Transportation |
|
UPDATE July 9, 2008 General Manager Patricia Warner resigns from Pensacola Bay Transportation _______________________________________ It was reported by a reliable source that Pensacola Bay Transportation General Manager Patricia Warner has resign from her position. Union President Mike Lowery states that it is unconfirmed but he thinks it was because Owner/President of PBT Margie Wilcox took away Health Insurance coverage to office staff and Management. "Health insurance was very important to her and if anything would drive her away from the paratransit system that would be it" states former Financial Secretary/Treasurer Gerri Bell. "Patricia was the heart and soul of the paratransit system and in many ways the engine that made that system move, she'll be missed by the employees and the Union will miss dealing with her fair minded thinking" said Lowery.
